Shipping Policy
1. General Shipping Information
All orders are subject to product availability and confirmation of final payment. Shipping fees for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Local builds do not require shipment.
A. Carrier Information
We primarily use FedEx, UPS, or USPS for all shipments.
B. Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

2. Processing and Delivery Timeline
Because we sell custom-built products, our timeline consists of two distinct phases: Processing (Build) Time and Transit Time.
A. Processing (Build) Time
This is the time it takes us to physically source the parts, assemble, cable manage, install software, and fully test your Custom PC.

Average Build Time: Our standard processing time for a custom PC build is 5 to 10 days from the date the final deposit is received and parts are sourced. Generally the moment the parts arrive, I get started and would have the computer finished that day. Unless Dead on Arrival parts delay.

B. Transit Time (Shipping)
This is the time it takes the carrier to deliver the package once it leaves our facility. Not required for local sales.

Standard Ground - 3-7 business days - Calculated at Checkout
Expedited - 1-3 business days - Calculated at Checkout
Note: Shipping and processing times are estimates and may be subject to delays outside of our control.

3. Shipping Costs and Insurance
A. Shipping Cost Calculation
A.1 Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Rates are based on the total weight, dimensions of the packaged PC, your location, and the speed of service selected.

A.2 Mystery book boxes will have a set flat rate shipping charge of $5.
B. Insurance and Signature
All custom PC shipments are insured for the full replacement value of the system. A direct signature will be required upon delivery to ensure your high-value item is received securely.
C. Import Duties and Taxes
For international shipments (e.g., to Canada), your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT) that are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country.

4. Damaged or Lost Orders
A. Damaged upon Arrival (DOA)
If you receive your Custom PC and it is visibly damaged, you must contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) to initiate an insurance claim and repair process. Please keep all original packaging materials. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details on damaged claims.
B. Lost Shipments
If you do not receive your package, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. The Nerdy Den is responsible for working with the carrier to resolve the issue.
